Dalit has been honored with Nelson Mandela award for the year 2016. The appreciation has been specially recognized on the field of social activism. The award ceremony was organized by 71 media vision in Dhaka on 8th August.

Organization Dalit has been honored with Mother Teresa award for the year 2017. The appreciation has been specially recognized on the field of social activism. The award ceremony was organized by United Movement Human Rights in Dhaka on 23rd February

In 2006, Dalit was honoured the BBC World Challenge Award for tremendous achievements in Water and Sanitation activities among 600 organizations in the World. Dalit’s Arsenic mitigation program resulted to be honoured with the Award.

Dalit has received the Energy Globe award from the Embassy of Austria in New Delhi, India on 18th June 2015. The award was provided for the work of Dalit through ‘Access to Safe Water, Sanitation and Hygiene’ (ASWASH) project.
