Objectives

to increase the literacy rate in dalit & disadvantaged communities;
Assisting in the development of youth leadership and providing guidance on exploring employment opportunities for them;
to increase knowledge on women’s rights, social rights including human rights amongst adolescent girl students;
to interact to create social awareness for the prevention of child marriage and increase public awareness against the child marriage system;
enhancing awareness on the establishment of human rights and elimination of caste discrimination;

Activities:

1) Study materials, stipend & exam. fees distribution;

2) Special support distribution to girls through motivational seminars;

3) Support to S.S.C. examinee;

4) Guidance seminar for S.S.C passed Dalit students;

5) Cultural and drawing competition;

6) Engaging Dalit youth in government technical training;

7) Meetings to establish connections with various organizations/service providers through the youth platform as part of demand-based advocacy;

8) Monthly & yearly meetings with the guardians at the village level;

9) Annual Meeting with the School Managing Committee;

10) Annual coordination meeting of Youth Club Members;

11) Awareness-raising sessions for adolescents;

12) Intergenerational dialogue with parents and children;

13) Advocacy with the Upazila Administration;
